Kawazu Nanadaru (Kawazu Seven Falls)
Waterfalls are usually called "taki" in Japanese, but here they
are called "taru". Taru is a racial word used in Heian Period.
Each waterfall has its distinct shape. From Kawazu Nanadaru bus stop, a
convenient 2km (about 1.24miles) promenade along the stream allows you
to enjoy these seven waterfalls. |

Some great writers crossed over this pass and wrote masterpieces. "Izu-no-odoriko"(The
